Harnai Beach

7 km from Dapoli. Hernai is a small village in the distance. The village is famous for two things: Harnai Beach and Harnai Fort. Harnai Beach is a quiet beach. Harnai fort is located on the north coast of Kina. Harnai Beach is a favourite beach for the people of Pune and Mumbai. People visit the beach to spend weekends and enjoy nature. Harnai port is also famous for fishing. Hundreds of fishing boats fish from the Harnai beach in the Arabian Sea and return every evening.

Murud-Janjira fort is located on an oval-shaped rock on the shores of the Arabian Sea near the port city of 1,165 km (103 mi) south of Mumbai. Janjira is considered to be one of the strongest sea forts in India. There is a sailor’s fort on the shores of Rajapuri jetty. The main gate of the fort is on the Rajapuri coast and is visible from a distance of about 0 feet (12 meters). There is a small poster gate to the open sea to avoid it. The fort has 2 round towers, still intact. The bastions have many original and European guns. The special attraction of this fort is the monstrous cannon of Kalalangadi, Chawri and Landa Kasam.

Saldure/Palande Beach

Ladghar is just six kilometers from the famous Karde Samudrakina adventure water sports center. Water sports enthusiasts come to the beach every season to experience the thrilling adventures on the Konkan coast. Playing with banana rides, water scooters and powerboats with strong but careful sea waves gives one an attractive rain drainline rush.

Kadyavarche Ganpati

Anjarle village is 18 km from Dapoli to Kelshi. Is at a distance. There are not enough words to describe the scenic beauty of the vast sea to the west, Anjarle village lost in the thick coconut groves, the distant Jog creek, and the winding road behind the mountains, the steps leading to the temple. You can see the Ganesha temple situated on a small hill on the right and it is known as ‘Kadyanch Ganapati’, it is believed that the temple was established about 600 years ago. Near the idol of Shri Ganesh. The legs are high and the figure carved on both sides of the idol is of accomplishment and accomplishment.

Keshavraj Temple

Keshavraj Temple is a beautiful place that shows the beauty of nature. Asadubag is about 1 km from Dapoli-Harne road near Dapoli. The beautiful idol of Lord Vishnu standing in the dim light of the lantern is immediately catching our attention.
The temple faces south, and the atmosphere inside the temple makes you feel at peace. The idol of Ganesha stands on the left side of the temple. This temple is surrounded by stone paving on all four sides and is famous as Keshavraj Deorai Temple.

Suvarnadurg is a fort on a small island in the Arabian Sea near Harnai in the Konkan. It is a coastal region along the west coast of India. Suvarnadurg fort was built in the 16th century during the reign of Adilshah. In 1660, Shivaji Maharaj defeated Adilshah II and annexed the defence to the Maratha Empire.

Parshuram Bhumi

Just 11 kilometers from Dapoli you can visit the beautiful place Bhagwan Parshuram Bhumi,  Huge Parshurama Statue is placed at scenic hill top from where u can get panoramic views of Tamstirtha red sea beach.

Ladghar Beach

Ladghar is just six kilometers from the famous Karde Samudrakina adventure water sports center. Bypass Sunset Point

A nice beach with great sunset views. It is worth a short visit. Beach is black sand beach and there are many smaller hotels close by to stay in or for food.. The road to the beach isn’t excellent in the last stretch however, it can be motorized.

Krushi Vidyapith

Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth previously Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, is an agricultural university located in Dapoli in the Ratnagiri district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was founded on the 18th of May 1972 under the name Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth. It was given its current name on the 12th of February, 2001, in honor of the three-time the Chief Minister in Maharashtra the late Shri. P. K. Sawant. The research centre located in Karjat is home to produced several varieties of rice that have been patented. Its main focus areas include agriculture, rice the horticulture as well as fishing. In 1997, it was awarded the Best Institute Award of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Its Dr. SD Sawant is the 14th Vice-Chancellor of the University. He was appointed by the Chancellor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao on 7 March 2019.
